Seven new NHS antenatal and newborn screening animations published

All the NHS antenatal and newborn screening animations now have translated subtitles

We’re delighted to announce that we have published 7 new screening animations.

Our animations are designed to make screening information accessible to a wider audience. Many people prefer visual cues along with information, and anyone can watch the videos as many times as they want and in their own time.

Our video resources have been very popular – our screening tests for you and your baby summary animation has been watched over 40,000 times.

Screening tests for pregnant women and newborn babies

We have published animations explaining the different screening tests for pregnant women and newborn babies.

These 7 videos go into more detail about each set of screening tests than the single Screening tests for you and your baby summary animation we’ve blogged about previously. The individual animations and the summary animation are all available with subtitles in English and 10 of the most requested foreign languages (Bengali, Chinese, French, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Somali and Urdu).

Translated versions are available by clicking on the relevant language in the top-right of the Screening tests for you and your baby page.
