In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the communications and engagement team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals has been raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and the importance of attending breast screening appointments.
Gill works in the communications and engagement team at the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Trust. She leads on work to deliver communications and engagement activities for NHS screening programmes across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw. This includes attending events, hosting workshops, visiting GP practices and working with the local community to raise awareness about screening and signs and symptoms and to look at ways to tackle health inequalities in hard to reach communities.
