Using Relay UK to make the bowel cancer screening helpline more accessible
BT's text relay service can help people who are hard of hearing or who have difficulties communicating verbally on the telephone.
Andrew has worked in bowel cancer screening since 2012. His substantive role is at the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programe Eastern Hub in Nottingham, where he is responsible for providing operational and managerial reporting information on the programme in the East Midlands and East of England.
Since October 2018 he has been supporting PHE Screening as the National Bowel Data Support Officer, while also working in screening quality assurance (QA) as the National Audit Project QA Facilitator.
