In this guest blog, CRUK explains how health professionals have an important role to play in supporting people to make an informed choice to access cancer screening.
Rachael is a strategic evidence engagement manager at Cancer Research UK (CRUK). The strategic evidence team is responsible for appraising evidence from a range of sources and using it to underpin CRUK's work on early diagnosis and cancer treatment. This includes horizon scanning for future developments. The team also develops a range of resources to support health professionals on early diagnosis and is home of the programme management team for the unique International Cancer Benchmarking Partnership.
