The national and regional Screening Quality Assurance Service (SQAS) works with screening providers to make sure quality standards are met and to support the management of incidents in a timely manner.
Beverley joined PHE in 2016 and is a quality assurance officer, assisting London AAA screening programmes and providing diary support to Head of QA, Khadidja Bichbiche. She recently graduated with a Masters in Public Health and is enjoying learning about quality assurance and its place within the screening world.

Public Health England (PHE) is the expert voice on screening, providing advice and guidance to the NHS. The national population screening programmes identify apparently healthy people who may be at increased risk of a disease or condition, enabling earlier treatment and informed decisions.
