The National Antenatal Infection Screening Monitoring (NAISM) team in Public Health England’s National Infection Service (NIS) has published the 2015 annual summary report on antenatal screening for infectious diseases.

The NHS Infectious Diseases in Pregnancy (IDPS) programme recently published revised standards for 2016 to 2017. These standards include metrics to evaluate the programme and allow providers and commissioners to identify where improvements are needed.

Every year, we, the NHS Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia (SCT) Screening Programme, publish a data report, which evaluates the performance of the programme.

The PHE Screening team

Public Health England (PHE) existed to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It closed on 30 September 2021 and this blog is no longer updated.
