The NHS Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme is delighted to confirm that we will be hosting a networking day aimed specifically at clinical skills trainers (CSTs) on Friday, 2 March 2018.
We are therefore asking all local programme coordinators to please ensure that CSTs are fully aware of this event.
Venue: The Wesley Euston Hotel and Conference Centre, 81-103 Euston Street, Kings Cross, London NW1 2EZ
Time: 10.30am to 3.30pm
Registration will be available from 10am with tea and coffee. Lunch will also be provided
We are aware that CSTs have been facing a number of challenges. They are a vital resource and have an essential role in assuring the quality of local programmes and working with their teams to make sure any issues identified are addressed.
During the event we would like to ensure we fully understand the main challenges CSTs face and will invite them to discuss potential solutions.
Programme for the day and how to register
Information on the day will include:
- national updates
- the level 3 diploma for health screeners and available resources
- reaccreditation of screening technicians
CSTs attending the event should bring along any examples of good practice they have in order to try to meet the challenges of providing the service.
