Working together to tackle cancer screening inequalities in London
The Healthy London Partnership has been focusing on tackling health inequalities, including those in cancer screening.
Julie is Deputy Director in the Transforming Cancer Services Team (part of the Healthy London Partnership), providing management support to the Cancer Transformation and Improvement Board for London. She also provides support to the London Patient Advisory Group, which enables a strong patient input into cancer transformation and improvement work across London. Initially Julie worked in a tertiary cancer centre in the North West of England as an oncology dietitian specialising in head and neck cancer before managing the cancer rehabilitation team and services. She has also worked in service improvement and cancer operational management at trusts within and outside London.
The Healthy London Partnership has been focusing on tackling health inequalities, including those in cancer screening.
Public Health England (PHE) existed to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It closed on 30 September 2021 and this blog is no longer updated.
