Working together to tackle cancer screening inequalities in London
The Healthy London Partnership has been focusing on tackling health inequalities, including those in cancer screening.
Sophie has nearly 10 years’ experience in the analysis of observational health datasets. Since 2018 she has been the Senior Cancer Information Analyst in the Transforming Cancer Services partnership with the National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service at PHE. Before that, she was a Research Associate Statistician in an academic department, working on HIV observational databases. It was during this time that she undertook a PhD in HIV epidemiology.
The Healthy London Partnership has been focusing on tackling health inequalities, including those in cancer screening.
Public Health England (PHE) existed to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It closed on 30 September 2021 and this blog is no longer updated.
