We have published new national guidance on GOV.UK that explains the process for policy makers and researchers who want to access screening data to explore new tests, treatments and theories.
Rachel is a research and evaluation coordinator, responsible for the research advisory committees and guiding people requesting data through the PHE approvals process. She has worked in screening since 2014, with experience in the bowel cancer, breast and cervical programmes. Her background is in research governance and she has a degree in biomedical science and a masters in public health engagement. She lives in Derbyshire, enjoys walking her dog and captains her local netball team.

Public Health England (PHE) existed to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It closed on 30 September 2021 and this blog is no longer updated.
