Supporting screening services is always interesting and always busy
I've been a quality assurance (QA) advisor since October 2015, having previously worked in the screening and immunisation team for Public Health England.
Mel is a quality assurance advisor in the SQAS South region. Her first job after university was at Porton Down working for the Health Protection Agency (HPA) as a research scientist. She then trained as a clinical scientist in immunology before moving into screening and immunisations in 2014. She enjoys an active lifestyle including swimming, cycling and the outdoors.

Public Health England (PHE) existed to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It closed on 30 September 2021 and this blog is no longer updated.
