Deborah is the Chief Executive of Bowel Cancer UK. She was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours list 2016, in recognition of her service to bowel cancer patients, named Charity Chief Executive of the Year at the Third Sector Excellence Awards 2017 and Charity Principal of the Year at the Charity Times Awards 2018.

Public Health England (PHE) existed to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It closed on 30 September 2021 and this blog is no longer updated.
