Buki Asanbe

Buki is the interim data manager for the NHS Diabetic Eye Screening Programme. She is the failsafe manager at North Central London Diabetic Eye Screening Programme, where she has worked for 8 years. She has more than 10 years’ experience in diabetic eye screening. Buki has a BSc in Information Systems and Management from Birkbeck University, London. She enjoys the challenge of using data to improve screening outcomes for people and reducing the risks of long-term conditions.

Updated national diabetic eye screening standards published

Buki Asanbe, 31 May 2019 - NHS Diabetic Eye Screening Programme

The NHS Diabetic Eye Screening Programme has published revised national pathway standards that apply to all data collected from 1 April 2019 onwards.

The PHE Screening team

Public Health England (PHE) existed to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It closed on 30 September 2021 and this blog is no longer updated.
