Tanis Barnett

Tanis started working for East Lancashire breast screening programme in May 2017 as patient navigator and has a keen interest in women’s health. Tanis previously worked as a dental nurse, qualifying as a dental hygienist in 2008, and as a marketing and health promotions officer with the NHS Stop Smoking Campaign

NHS England (Lancashire and South Cumbria) commissioned a piece of work with its local breast screening services to raise awareness of breast screening.

The PHE Screening team

Public Health England (PHE) existed to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It closed on 30 September 2021 and this blog is no longer updated.
