Embedding ethics at the UK National Screening Committee
An update on the work of the UK National Screening Committee to review the way it considers ethical issues.
Catherine was seconded to the UK NSC from April 2020 to June 2021 to undertake a review of how the UK NSC considers ethical issues raised by screening questions, and how it engages with stakeholders and the public to inform its work.
She is Assistant Director at the Nuffield Council on Bioethics where she is responsible for running Council projects and its horizon scanning programme. Catherine has a particular interest in genomic testing and screening.
