Working together to improve uptake of breast screening across Lancashire and South Cumbria
NHS England (Lancashire and South Cumbria) commissioned a piece of work with its local breast screening services to raise awareness of breast screening.
Carly qualified as a dental nurse in 2007 and gained a Dip HE in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in 2010. Since then she has had a passion for health improvement and worked as part of the oral health improvement team before joining North Lancashire and South Cumbria breast screening service in November 2018. Her role includes engaging with women to promote the breast screening programme and encouraging more women to attend.

Public Health England (PHE) existed to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities. It closed on 30 September 2021 and this blog is no longer updated.
